Contacts
I like contesting on HF and VHF, especially working
grids on 6 and 2 meter sideband. The last contact
was the
T32C DXpedition
from Kiritimati (Christmas Island) on October 9,
2011 at 22:44 hours UTC on 28.485 MHz (up 3 KHz
transmit).
On 6, during a June 2010 VHF
contest. the farthest contact was VO1KVT, grid GN29
in Newfoundland, Canada, W9RVG, grid EM57 in
Illinois and the farthest, N5RZ, grid DM91 in Texas.
In January of 2011, there were a few 6 meter
Sporadic Es openings and I made contact with W0BLD,
grid EM37 in Missouri, a total of 1047 miles.
My first Trans-Atlantic 6 meter contact was to
CT1HZE in Portugal and first Trans-Equatorial
contact to PV8ABC in Brazil. All of my QSL contacts
are sent via eQSL.cc. I've
collected
QSL's for 20 years back to the 1990-91 sunspot cycle.
